Angela Madsen, a paraplegic from California, and Franck Festor, an amputee from France, ROWED across the Atlantic Ocean. They left La Gomera in the Canary Islands on 12/02/07 and arrived at Antigua in the West Indies on 02/07/08, after nearly 67 days at sea. Angela became the first paraplegic to cross the Atlantic Ocean by oar. 4/19/09 Angela will row across the Indian Ocean, skippering a crew of 7 other rowers, in an attempt to set several records.
